Adsgram: New Platform For Telegram Mini-Apps Developers Produce Toncoin

JAKARTA - On June 25, the TON Foundation launched Adsgram, a new advertising platform designed to help mini-apps developers on Telegram generate revenue. Through Adsgram, developers can now integrate direct ads into their apps and gain Toncoin (TON), creating new revenue opportunities in the TON ecosystem.

Unlike existing Telegram ad platforms that primarily serve channel owners, Adsgrams specifically focus on mini-apps and bots. This third-party platform connects developers with comprehensive advertising systems, featuring various ad formats such as 15-second video ads, static banners, and channel subscriptions.

According to a tweet from TOBTC, Adsgram allows Telegram mini-apps developers to produce Toncoin by displaying advertisements in various formats. Developers have the potential to earn up to 16 US Dollars of CPM (around Rp262,320) based on the involvement of their audience.

Adsgram supports general ad payment models such as cost-per-twist impressions (CPM) and provides important performance data for developers, such as click-through rates, conversions, and fill rates. As of May 2024, the Adsgram network has reached up to 8 million daily impressions. Gamee and Fonton Fantasy Football are some mini-apps that already use this platform, attracting users from countries such as Nigeria, Bangladesh, and Germany.

Adsgram has big advertisers like major crypto exchanges, TON-based games, and other services, with CPM varying between 0.5 TONS (US$3.8) and 2 TONS (US$16) depending on the demographic target. This launch makes Adsgram a potential solution for developers looking for viable monetization strategies in the Telegram ecosystem.

Quoted from Crypto News, Vadim Sterlin, co-founder of Adsgram and popular Telegram game developer Fantongamebot, stated that the platform has great potential to address monetization challenges in the Telegram GameFi sector. Prior to Adsgram, developers such as Sterlin often had difficulty generating revenue without having to sell ads directly.

With the aid of a grant of 50,000 US Dollars (approximately IDR 820 million) from the TON Foundation to develop its initial product, the launch of Adsgram coincided with growing concerns about security in the TON ecosystem.
