TULUNGAGUNG - The police revealed the motive for the fraud by a fake police with the initials AW (24) from Tempeh, Lumajang, East Java. The perpetrator admitted to deceiving people to fulfill their family's economic needs, especially buying milk for their two young children.

"That is the confession concerned. It is okay for him to reason," said Rejotangan Police Chief AKP Herry Purwanto in Tulungagung quoted by Antara, Wednesday, March 17.

But from the results of the investigation, the perpetrators had already acted 6 times in different areas. AW once cheated with fake police in Blitar and Tulungagung.

AW's tricks were exposed while acting in Tulungagung. The police arrested him after reportedly taking the cellphones of three of the deceived victims.

"We coordinate it with the Blitar Kota Police, later in Tulungagung it will be taken to Blitar Kota," said AKP Herry.

AW acts by pretending to be a police officer. The mode, AW, scare youths caught doing wild racing in Tugu Village, Rejotangan District on Sunday, March 7 in the morning.

At this location, AW managed to outwit his victim AH (17) by showing the toy gun he was carrying. AW pretended to check the letter and the completeness of the motorized vehicle.

AW admits that he was inspired to become a fake policeman when he bought a mask with the words TNI-Polri on it. The mask was purchased by AW at a uniform shop in Blitar City.

"I bought it at a uniform shop in Blitar City," continued AW.

In addition to masks, AW also equipped himself with a plastic toy gun belonging to his first child, which costs Rp. 15 thousand. AW admitted that his actions were carried out because he was crushed by economic problems.
