Investigating Alleged Bribery And Gratuities Of Nurdin Abdullah, KPK Summons 2 Witnesses
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to investigate allegations of bribery and gratuities that ensnared the inactive South Sulawesi Governor, Nurdin Abdullah. In the near future, the KPK will summon two witnesses from the private sector.
Witnesses who were summoned were Kiki Suryani and Virna Ria Zalda. The two of them will be asked for information to complete the case files of the Secretary of the PUPR Office of South Sulawesi Province, Edy Rahmat.
"Kiki Suryani and Virna Ria Zalda were questioned as witnesses for the ER suspect," said Acting KPK spokesman for Enforcement Ali Fikri in a written statement, Wednesday, March 17.
It is not yet known what material the two witnesses will be examining, however, both are suspected of knowing about the corruption case that ensnared Nurdin Abdullah and his men.
Previously reported, besides Nurdin, the KPK also named two other suspects, namely Edy Rahmat (ER) as the Secretary of the South Sulawesi Province Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUTR) or trusted people Nurdin and Agung Sucipto (AS) as the contractor / Director of PT Agung Perdana Bulukumba. (APB).
Nurdin is suspected of receiving a total of Rp. 5.4 billion, with details on February 26, 2021 receiving Rp. 2 billion submitted through Edy from Agung.
In addition, Nurdin is also suspected of receiving money from other contractors, including at the end of 2020 Nurdin received Rp200 million, mid-February 2021 Nurdin through his aide named Samsul Bahri received Rp1 billion, and early February 2021 Nurdin through Samsul Bahri received Rp.2.2 billion. .
In the construction of the case, it was stated that the suspect Agung worked on the project to improve the Palampang-Munte-Bontolempangan Road in Sinjai / Bulukumba Regency (DAK Assignment) for the 2019 FY with a value of Rp. IDR 15.7 billion.
Furthermore, the construction of the Palampang-Munte-Bontolempangan Section (Provincial APBD) with a value of IDR 19 billion, road construction, pedisterian, and lighting for the Bira Tourism Area (South Sulawesi Province Financial Assistance 2020 to Bulukumba Regency) FY 2020 with a project value of IDR 20.8 billion Rehabilitation of Parkiran 1 Road and construction of Jalan Parkiran 2 for the Bira Tourism Area (2020 South Sulawesi Provincial Financial Assistance to Bulukumba Regency) for the 2020 year with a project value of IDR7.1 billion.
