Convey Prayers To Menkumham About KLB During A Meeting, AHY's Men Are Teased By DPR Members
JAKARTA - Politician from the Democrat Party of Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), Benny K. Harman, was teased by DPR members when delivering interruptions to the Minister of Law and Human Rights, Yasonna Laoly during a meeting at the Commission.
The reason is, instead of asking questions related to the performance of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Benny instead expressed his hopes regarding the results of the Extraordinary Democratic Party Congress (KLB).
According to Benny, he only conveyed the aspirations of party cadres bearing the Mercy Star logo throughout Indonesia so that the Menkumham would be in good health.
"Friends said, 'Please convey Pak Benny, we all pray across religions, across cultures, so that he (Yasonna, red) is healthy, away from Covid, so that the mind remains clear, remains intelligent and can solve problems including the nation's problems,'" he said. Benny imitated the expectations of Democrat cadres.
Indirectly, Benny also hopes that Menkumham will remain upright in resolving any legal issues.
"If there is a problem related to us (chaotic Democrats, ed), yes, of course that is also his prayer," said Benny with a smile.
The act of delivering Benny not to the point immediately became the subject of jokes by the members of Commission III of the DPR who were present.
"Oh shy, just go ahead," said another member of Commission III of the DPR.
"We beg sir, we pray Menkumham can enforce the rules properly. That's our prayer, sir," said Benny continued.
Suddenly Benny's prayers and hopes that were conveyed to the Menkumam were struck by another politician who is also experienced in dealing with the problem of party dualism.
"We help to pray as well, Mr. Benny is always enduring in the face of trials. Later I will give you a leak of his prayers," said Golkar politician Adies Kadir with a laugh.
PPP politician Arsul Sani also grabbed Adies' statement. Where ever there was a problem of dualism in the body of the Ka'bah party.
"Minister Pak Benny, Mr. Adies and I have tried it and three years ago," said Arsul to the laughter of the members.
