South Bogor Becomes The Most Districts Of Online Gambling Actors, Money Turnover Of IDR 349 Billion
Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Hadi Tjahjanto revealed that there are a number of areas that have been heavily exposed to online gambling based on data from the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK).
For example, South Bogor District with 3,720 online gambling players and a circulation of Rp. 349 billion. Then, Tambora District with 7,916 perpetrators and a circulation of Rp. 196 billion. Cengkareng District the culprit was 14,782 people and the circulation of Rp. 176 billion. Then, Tanjung Priok District with 9,554 people and a transaction value of Rp. 139 billion.
Hadi said the Online Gambling Eradication Task Force would call the sub-district heads and village heads regarding the eradication of online gambling in their respective regions. Later, the sub-district heads and village heads will be presented with data on who their citizens are.
"We will give his name later, the cellphone number, where is the address," said Hadi, Tuesday, June 24.
The former TNI commander explained that online gambling spread to the village level to the sub-district with the mode of buying and selling accounts. "To participate in eradicating and must be responsible that in the area it is used as a nest to play online gambling," he said.
Hadi wishes, officials at the regional level will participate in eradicating rampant online gambling to the lower class. This is because online gambling provides a big loss to the community.

Hadi Tjahjanto emphasized that his party would summon the sub-district head to the village head (kades) in handling online gambling. This is done because online gambling has spread to the regions.
"Our actions immediately gathered the sub-district heads and then village heads, village heads," Hadi said at a press conference at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture Building, Central Jakarta, Tuesday.
Hadi emphasized that efforts to prevent and take action against online gambling continue to be encouraged by the task force. Meanwhile, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy, said that currently 6,000 accounts related to online gambling have been blocked.
Then, the blocking report has been submitted to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police to be frozen. "What is clear is that now there are 6,000 accounts that have been blocked and there is money. We will announce it later. If later no one claims to be taken by the state," explained Muhadjir.
