6 Militants Killed After Terrorist Attack On Place Of Worship In Russia's Dagestan

Six militants were killed in Dagestan after terrorist attacks on a number of places of worship, said the head of the region Sergey Melikov.

"Six gunmen were killed. Further operations and searches and investigations will continue until all members of the cell (terrorists) sleep is detected, which must have been prepared, especially from abroad," Melikov said as quoted by TASS, Monday, June 24.

"The situation in Dagestan after the terrorist acts in Makhachkala and Derbent is under the control of the authorities and law enforcement agencies," he said.

"The situation is controlled by government authorities, by law enforcement authorities," said Melikov.

Three days of mourning was announced in Dagestan over this terrorist attack.
