This Lecherous Man In Jambi Rapes Beggars With Disabilities
JAMBI - The police have arrested the Supreme Court suspect (46) who raped a beggar woman with a disability.
Head of the Sub-Directorate of Youth, Children, and Women of Criminal Investigation Jambi Police, AKBP Hasan said the MA suspect was arrested for allegedly raping the victim with the initials D (42) who had physical disabilities.
"The victim was assaulted by the suspect in a bush in the Bertam area, Muaro Jambi Regency, after the victim was taken around on a motorbike belonging to the perpetrator", Hasan quoted Antara as saying, Tuesday, March 16.
The victim and the suspect already know each other. The victim works as a beggar. Meanwhile, the suspect has a job as a motorcycle taxi driver.
The incident began on March 7 when the victim was waiting for a motorcycle taxi in front of the Kebun Handil minimarket. Suddenly the suspect arrived and asked the victim to go around Jambi City and at around 12.00 WIB the victim and perpetrator arrived at the scene of the incident in Bertam, Muaro Jambi Regency.
"Before the rape was carried out, the victim was forced to fulfill the perpetrator's desire because the victim had rebelled and was dragged about 50 meters away and then raped", said AKBP Hasan.
After committing his heinous act, the suspect then left the victim at the scene. The victim was helped by passing residents and took to the Regional Police to report what happened to her.
Hasan said that after receiving the report, the Sub-Directorate of Youth, Children, and Women team carried out an investigation and because the victim knew the perpetrator in a short time the perpetrator was arrested by the police.
Currently, investigators from the Jambi Regional Police have carried out a post mortem on the victim and plan for a DNA test at the Police Laboratory to determine the sperm sample from the victim's blood because the sperm marks are on the victim's pants.
When questioned, the suspect was also known as a recidivist in a child molestation case in 2013 and was in prison for one year and six months.
For his actions, the Supreme Court suspect was subject to article 285 of the Criminal Code concerning violence or threats of violence forcing a woman to have intercourse. The maximum imprisonment threat is 12 years in prison.
