Foreign Funds Out Of Capai IDR 0.78 Trillion In A Week

JAKARTA Bank Indonesia (BI) noted that there is a foreign capital outflow from domestic finance on June 19 to June 21, 2024, non-residents in the domestic financial market recorded net sales of IDR 0.78 trillion

Assistant Governor of the Communication Department of Bank Indonesia Erwin Haryono said foreign funds were out of the stock market.

"Selling net Rp1.42 trillion in the stock market, buying net Rp0.45 trillion in SBN and buying net Rp0.19 trillion in Bank Indonesia Securities (SRBI)," he explained through an official statement, quoted on Sunday, June 23.

Selama tahun 2024, berdasarkan data setelmen sampai dengan 20 Jun 2024, nonresident tercatat jual neto Rp42,10 triliun di pasar SBN, jual neto Rp9,35 triliun di pasar saham, dan beli neto Rp117,77 triliun di SRBI.

In line with these developments, Erwin said that the CDS Indonesia premium 5 years as of June 20, 2024 was 76.04 bps, relatively stable compared to June 14, 2024, which was 76.40 bps.

Erwin said that based on the conventional development of Bank Indonesia, it continues to strengthen coordination with the Government and relevant authorities and optimize policy mix strategies to maintain macroeconomic and financial system stability in order to support sustainable economic growth.
