Hajj Pilgrims Are Prohibited From Bringing Zamzam Water In Bags
JAKARTA - Indonesian Hajj pilgrims are prohibited from carrying Air Zamzam in a baggage suitcase when returning to their homeland. This adjusts the rules for flights related to luggage.
"Regarding luggage later, we urge the congregation to comply with flight rules related to luggage," said Head of the Airport Daker Abdillah quoting Antara.
Abdillah explained that the baggage suitcase will be transported first by airlines, namely Garuda Indonesia and Saudia Airlines. He said the congregation could only carry two bags.
The goods that can be brought by the congregation when traveling home are only one cabin bag weighing seven kilograms along with a small bag containing important passports and documents.
Then a 32 kg baggage bag that will be transported by aircraft cargo.

"So it is not permissible for the congregation to carry the luggage of the more than two bags," he said.
According to him, the congregation's cabin suitcase will be inspected by airport authorities. If found carrying Air Zamzam, it will be demolished when checking in.
Referring to the GACA Authority of KSA, any size of Air Zamzam and any packaging is prohibited from being put in passenger luggage, mobile bags, or baggage suitcases.
The schedule for the return of Indonesian pilgrims for the first batch of pilgrims will begin on June 22. The return of Indonesian pilgrims will be carried out at two airports, Medina and Jeddah.
