YouTube Cancels Subscription Of Cheap Premium Packages Purchased Using VPN

JAKARTA Some YouTube users continue to do various ways to get premium packages at the cheapest price. One way they use is to subscribe to using a VPN.

When buying premium packages using VPN, users will pay for packages according to the location price they choose. This is a way of cheating that is mostly done by YouTube users, especially in the US.

The subscription price for premium packages in the US, for private accounts, is priced at 13.99 US dollars (Rp230 thousand). In contrast to Ukraine, only 2.5 US dollars (Rp41 thousand) per month for a personal account.

With this price comparison, many deliberately bought premium packages by changing their location to other countries. However, this method is no longer valid because Google is starting to take action.

According to reports from several users on Reddit, quoted from the Android Authority, YouTube has started canceling premium membership for customers who buy packages while using VPN. They will get membership cancellation emails.

Not much that Google conveys via premium package cancellation email. They only say that users will not be able to get premium benefits within a specified period of time, unless they subscribe back.

With this cancellation, users can no longer use VPN to get cheaper package prices. If they try to subscribe to premium packages with VPN again, it is possible that their package will be canceled again.
