Golkar Ethics Council Will Fire Two Purwakarta DPD Management If Proven To Have Committed Serious Violations

JAKARTA - The Ethics Council of the Golkar Party DPP will fire two administrators of the Golkar Party DPD Purwakarta in cases of infidelity and gratification. The ethics board did not hesitate to dismiss its cadres if they were proven to have committed serious violations.

Deputy Secretary of the Ethics Council of the Golkar Party, Muchtar Herman Putra, said that today the trial for the alleged affair involving the Secretary of the Golkar DPD Dias Rukmana Praja was held with the agenda of examining the Dias family as the reporter. The Ethics Council has also scheduled an examination of Dias tomorrow.

"This is a process, yes, this case appears internally in the family but because it is widening through the spread of this media, public consumption is no longer the family that is cheated on, that's the first," said Muchtar at the Golkar DPP office, West Jakarta, Wednesday, June 19.

Second, continued Muchtar, the gratification problem carried out by the Regent of Purwakarta for the 2018-2023 period, Ane Ratna Mustika as well as the chairman of the Golkar Party DPD Purwakarta, which is currently still in the process of being investigated by the Attorney General's Office.

"It's no secret that news has gone anywhere, there has even been taking evidence, summoning witnesses, from investigation to investigation, meaning that we are just waiting to see who the suspect is," said Muchtar.

Muchtar ensured that the Golkar DPP Ethics Council would try anyone who violates the Golkar Party's code of ethics. According to him, if the reported party is proven to have committed a serious violation, it will be dismissed from all party members.

"There are three weights, medium, light. We will see if they have defamed Golkar, they cannot be disallowed and then their families have demanded that all their rights be issued to these individuals, if it is difficult, they must be dismissed, either from Golkar members, administrators or members of the council," said Muchtar.

"If it's light, we can understand it, we'll see later," he continued.

Previously, the Purwakarta Student Alliance and the Purwakarta Community held a demonstration in front of the Golkar Party DPP office on Jalan Anggrek Neli Murni, Slipi, West Jakarta, Wednesday, June 19.

The urgent period is for these Golkar DPD administrators to be given the harshest sanctions. This is because the actions of these individuals are considered a serious ethical violation.

"We strongly condemn actions that violate moral norms such as allegations of infidelity reportedly involving members of the Purwakarta DPRD from the Golkar faction," said Ahmad Abqori Hisan.

The masses considered this person's actions to have hurt the hearts of the people. Moreover, as a public official, it should set a good example.

"This action tarnishes the image of the people of Purwakarta and undermines public confidence in political integrity. We demand transparency in the process of investigation and enforcement of ethics within the party," he explained.

As the ruling party in Purwakarta, Golkar must also maintain the dignity of the party. So that when the cadre commits a violation, it should be given a severe punishment.

"We came all the way to save the image and dignity of the Golkar Party itself. Therefore, Golkar must take firm action against those who hurt the hearts of the people of Purwakarta," he concluded.
