Saudi Authority Ensures Clean Water For Hajj 2024 In Mecca
JAKARTA - The Saudi Water Authority (SWA) stated that more than three billion liters of clean water were pumped during the Hajj in Makkah and holy places during Tarwiah and Arafat, as well as the first day of Eid al-Adha 2024.
This achievement is part of the SWA's operational plan to ensure the comfort and welfare of the pilgrims during the 1445 Hijri Hajj season.
The SWA's operational system has succeeded in achieving this achievement through collaborative efforts, careful planning, and careful preparation, according to a Saudi Arabian news agency (SPA) report.

The Air Salinization Conversion Company, which serves as the SWA transition operational branch, along with a production system at the Saudi Water Partnership Company and its private sector partners, significantly increased water production capacity to reach record highs.
In addition, the Water Transmission and Technology Company facilitates the water supply produced for Saudi Arabia's National Water Company, complementing the integrated efforts of the system by distributing and pumping the announced amount to Makkah and holy places.
