Accompanied By His Wife And Children, Gibran Prays Eid At Solo City Hall
Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka performed Eid al-Adha 1445 H prayers at Surakarta City Hall Courtyard, Central Java, Monday, June 17.
On that occasion, he came along with his wife, Selvi Ananda and his two children Jan Ethes Srinarendra and La Lembah Manah. The four of them were compact wearing white clothes.
In the same place, it was also seen that the U-16 national team players who will compete in the U-16 AFF Cup also participated in prayers.
Acting as imam of prayer, namely KH Muh Muhtarom and as khatib, namely the Head of the Surakarta Ministry of Religion Hidayat Maskur.
In the sermon, Hidayat advised people who celebrate Eid not to live excessively or excessively.
"Indeed, Allah does not like excessive people," he said.
He also asked the public to distribute the meat of the sacrificial animal according to religious teachings, namely that a third of it can be used to eat alone and their families, one third for the poor, and the other third can be awarded to the people.
