Police Have Arrested Three Suspects In The Male Shooter In Merangin.
JAMBI - Police arrested three suspects involved in the shooting of a man with the initials AA (37), a resident of South Tabir District, Merangin Regency, Jambi, Friday, June 14.
Merangin Police Chief AKBP Ruri Roberto in Jambi, Sunday, said the first perpetrator arrested was PR alias Puput (37) at his home located in Muara Dalang Village, South Tabir.
After the police examined the suspect, it was discovered that two other perpetrators were involved.
"We examined Puput and found out about the other two perpetrators," he said.
The other two perpetrators were arrested in the same village. The two have the initials S (40) and C (27), respectively.
Merangin Police Investigators are still investigating the three suspected perpetrators to find out the motive for the shooting.
"We are still exploring each other's roles in this case," he said
During the arrest, the police also confiscated a number of evidences, namely four mobile phones, one homemade firearm, one former projectile, three motorcycles, and three for a laptop.
The Head of Subsidy for Penmas Merangin Police, Aiptu Ruly, said investigators accompanied a team of forensic doctors to conduct an autopsy on the victim at Colonel Abunjani Hospital, Bangko, Merangin.
This autopsy, he said, was carried out to find a bright spot for the cause of death.

From the perpetrator's statement, the murder occurred due to a heartache factor due to threats made by the victim to PR or Puput.
He said that this was still being investigated by Merangin Police investigators and was still asking for information from a number of other witnesses.
Previously, a resident of Margo Tabir Village, Merangjn, was shocked by the discovery of a victim who was suspected of having suffered a gunshot wound by an unknown person.
