World Boxing: David's Gervonta Collapses Frank Martin In Eight Rounds

JAKARTA - WBA lightweight champion Gervonta 'Tank' Davis (30-0, 28 KOs) scored a spectacular knockout win in the eighth round over Frank The Ghost Martin (118-1, 12 KOs).

Their duel was held on Saturday night (15/6/2024), or Sunday morning WIB, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Martin was able to outperform Davis in the first half of the fight. But Davis stepped up the pressure in the second half of the game, then landed an upper cut on Martin's chin followed by a left hook. Martin collapsed.

The time in the eighth round showed 1:29 minutes.
