Fun! Macbook Users Can Now Use Photoshop Without An Emulator
JAKARTA - Previously, Adobe Photoshop was designed only for computer devices using Intel processors only (x86). Now the image management software can be used on MacBook devices without the need to run the Rosetta 2 emulator.
Recently, Adobe reported that the latest Photoshop can be run natively on Mac computers that use the M1 chip. The presence of the latest version of Adobe Photoshop makes it easier for MacBook users.
On the other hand, the presence of the M1 chip on the MacBook device is also claimed to provide a Photoshop performance increase of 1.5 percent faster than "systems from previous generations with similar configurations." For example opening or saving a file, Select Subject, and applying a number of filters, will run smoothly.
"Our initial benchmarks also show that some operations can be performed faster with this new chip (M1)," said Pam Clark, vice president of Adobe Photoshop in a post on her official blog, Monday, March 15.
However, the company has not confirmed any more details regarding Adobe. It is likely that the Mac device in question is an output in 2019 that still uses an Intel processor and has not used Apple's own M1, as reported by MacRumors.
Even though it can be run without using an emulator, until now there are still a number of features that cannot be run via M1, namely the Shake Reduction filter and Preset Sync.
In 2020, Apple launched a MacBook computer equipped with the M1 chip. 3 Computer devices equipped with the latest M1 chip include the MacBook Air M1, MacBook Pro M1, and Mac Mini.
