Minister Of Health: The Cost Of Mutual Cooperation Vaccine Is Still Waiting For Bio Farma And KADIN
JAKARTA - Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin has confirmed that the Gotong Royong vaccine will not interfere with the government's vaccination program. The mutual aid vaccine will use a different type of vaccine from the other four government vaccines, namely Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Novavax and Pfizer.
"The one used by Sinopharm and Moderna. Maybe there are some additional vaccines that can be used as well," said Minister of Health Budi in a joint working meeting with Commission IX DPR in Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, March 15.
For the provision of mutual cooperation vaccines, the Minister of Health has issued a regulation or Permenkes. The sales assignment is given to Bio Farma in collaboration with KADIN through BUMN.
Later on, Bio Farma will distribute them to company cooperatives and then give them to employees free of charge.
"Deliberately bought at Bio Farma to make sure the vaccines are genuine," said Budi.
So that the vaccination process does not overlap with the government's vaccination program, a different vaccination site is also determined.
"So it is not the place in the Puskesmas, government hospital or regional hospital but using private facilities," said Budi.
Meanwhile, data collection is carried out in the same way as the government vaccination program. The Ministry of Health can monitor vaccine injections.
"Then to monitor the events after immunization," said Budi.
Budi confirmed that the Sinopharm and Moderna vaccines have been approved for use. Now it remains only to wait for the determination of the price and amount.
"We are still waiting for the finalization of Bio Farma and KADIN to provide the price and quantity. Once it has been agreed by KADIN and Bio Farma, we will issue a Permenkesnya, "said Budi.
