PKB Bahas Proposal Pair Anies-Kaesang In The 2024 Jakarta Gubernatorial Election
JAKARTA - The PKB Central Executive Board (DPP) will discuss the proposal of the DKI Jakarta PKB Regional Leadership Council (DPW) to pair Anies Baswedan with PSI General Chair, Kaesang Pangarep for the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada. It is known that the PKB DPW has officially brought Anies as a candidate for governor of Jakarta.
"Of course, every DPW proposal will be discussed and studied in depth," said PKB DPP chairman Daniel Johan, to reporters, Thursday, June 13.
Currently, Daniel continued, the DPP is still scheduling a fit and proper test (UKK) for Anies Baswedan. He asked that the public wait for the UKK to be held.
"Wait for the UKK process, it will be scheduled later," he said.
Daniel assessed that the issue of the official announcement of the cagub and cawagub pairs from PKB was only a technical matter. According to him, there is still time until the deadline determined by the KPU.
"Before the deadline, the KPU. It's just technical, how come it's a matter of scheduling time," said Daniel.
Previously, the DKI Jakarta PKB DPW officially announced that it would carry Anies Baswedan as the 2024 Jakarta cagub. The PKB DPW also proposed that Kaesang be the cawagub companion to Anies.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep admitted that he accepted if he received an offer to be paired with Anies Baswedan in the 2024 DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election.
"I don't have a problem if later it will be paired with Pak Anies," said Kaesang at the PSI DPP office, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, June 12.
Although he has not yet decided whether to run for the DKI Jakarta Pilkada, President Joko Widodo's son assesses that there will be a positive impact if he is paired with Anies.
