JCI Becomes 6,897, The Average Daily Transaction Value Drops 42.69 Percent Over The Week Yesterday

JAKARTA The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) announced that based on stock trading data on the IDX for the period 3 to 7 June 2024, it was closed with weakening.

During this week, the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) weakened by 1.04 percent to 6,897,950 from 6,970,730 at the close of last week.

The stock exchange market capitalization during the week also weakened by 2.85 percent to Rp11,488 trillion from Rp11,825 trillion a week ago.

Meanwhile, the average transaction frequency for a week decreased by 17.94 percent to 927 thousand transactions from 1.13 million transactions a week ago.

Meanwhile, the average daily transaction volume during the week weakened by 23.82 percent to 15.79 billion shares from 20.73 billion shares a week ago.

Furthermore, the average daily transaction value this week also decreased by 42.69 percent, which was IDR 10.39 trillion from IDR 18.12 trillion.

Finally, the movement of foreign investors last Friday recorded a net selling value of Rp894.24 billion and throughout 2024 foreign investors recorded a net selling value of Rp8.59 trillion.
