Good News From Wisma Athletes Today, 53 Percent Of Beds In COVID-19 Hospital Unoccupied

JAKARTA - There has been a reduction in the level of filling of COVID-19 patient care beds at the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital Kemayoran today. Currently, its use is up to 47 percent, so that there is 53 percent of beds unoccupied by patients.

Head of Information for Kogabwilhan I, Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, said that as of today, 258 people have left the Athlete's House as COVID-19 isolation patients.

"There are 2,852 inpatients at the Wisma Atlet Hospital from 5,994 beds. Initially, 3,110 people were being treated, and today it has increased by 256 people", said Aris in his statement, Monday, March 15.

In detail, there are 1,424 women and 1,428 men. They are undergoing isolation in Towers 4, 5, 6, and 7 of the Wisma Atlet Emergency COVID-19 Hospital.

So, since the beginning it was used as a place of isolation on March 23, 2020, until now, Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital for COVID-19 has been treating it. 73,263 coronavirus patients.

"There were 70,411 patients discharged, with details of 69,612 patients recovered, 712 were referred to other hospitals, and 87 people died", he said.

Currently, all isolation patients being treated at Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital Kemayoran are people who have symptoms of COVID-19, both mild and moderate.

Meanwhile, patients in the asymptomatic category undergo isolation at the Pademangan Quarantine Athletes House. This hospital is also used as a place of repatriation isolation. Tower 8 and 9 Wisma Atlet Pademangan currently has 5,407 inpatients.

"Today there are an additional 148 patients undergoing isolation at the Pademangan Athletes House. Yesterday, there were 5,259 hospitalized patients", he concluded.
