No Different From Films, The Series The Falcon And The Winter Soldier Presents Action-packed Scenes That Drive Adrenaline
JAKARTA - The two main actors who played the second original Marvel Studios series on Disney +, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan revealed that the series will come with action-packed scenes that stimulate adrenaline.
Both admitted that they were quite challenged to play a dangerous scene, which according to him was more intense than in their previous films.
"For the action scenes are not much different from the film, even more, intense and evolved. Especially for Falcon, I feel his action is more intense, yes, Bucky too. But so far, the action is more or less the same as the film", Stan said at the global press conference of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier that was held online, Monday, March 15.
"Apart from the awakened action, this series also builds character arcs. Such as, 'Who am I now?', 'What can I give and inherit?', Which will be answered later", he added.
Agree, Anthony Mackie added that the action scenes they played were also assisted by qualified and experienced stuntmen.
"They (the stuntmen) were amazing. We worked together and succeeded in creating more physical ideas and things and making good use of our strengths. We also did a lot of stunt training", said Mackie.
Apart from the intense action scenes, director Kari Skogland said that there were other challenges for him and the team while working on this project.
It is known, the production process of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was postponed and stopped due to the COVID-19 pandemic that began to spread early last year.
"Since we stopped production (filming) because of COVID-19, we are not silent and continue to do editing, and sharpen our focus. So, when we can produce again, we already know what to do to finish this series. I am very excited, especially WandaVision had a tremendous welcome", said Skogland.
Meanwhile, Skogland was assisted by Malcolm Spellman as a scriptwriter for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
The series also stars Daniel Brühl as Zemo, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker, and will arrive from March 19, 2021, on the Disney + Hotstar streaming service.
