Acceleration Of MSME Growth, BNI Provides Financing To Retail Distributor Mitra PIHC

JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) provides financing facilities to retail distributors of Pupuk Indonesia Holding Company (PIHC) partners as part of efforts to encourage the growth of MSMEs in Indonesia.

According to the company, this strategic step is expected to accelerate the growth of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the agricultural sector, which is one of the sectors with great potential to develop in Indonesia.

"By providing financing facilities for financing financial and retail financing distributors to PIHC partners, BNI has made a significant contribution in accelerating the growth of MSMEs in the agricultural sector," said BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo quoting Antara.

As one of the leading banks in Indonesia, Okki said that BNI has a strong commitment to support national economic growth through providing various financial services to MSMEs.

According to him, BNI's focus is not only focused on established sectors but also on sectors that have great potential to develop, such as the agricultural sector.

Meanwhile, Pupuk Indonesia Marketing Director Tri Wahyudi Saleh assessed that the provision of financing facilities in the form of financing distributors and retail financing for PIHC partners was a concrete form of BNI's commitment to support the development of MSMEs in the agricultural sector.

"Through this facility, PIHC can expand the distribution reach of its products, increase operational efficiency, and support the growth of MSMEs in the vicinity," said Tri.

In addition to the ease of access to capital, BNI also provides a digital financial ecosystem for partner distributors through the BNI Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) which can be used for all operational transaction needs and payment of various obligations.

The company noted that this step was not just a financial transaction but also a long-term investment in building an inclusive and sustainable economy in Indonesia.

Earlier on May 13, BNI participated in the "Reward Benefit Model Retail Management for 2023 Pupuk Indonesia" event in Surabaya, East Java. In the event, BNI introduced its products and support for the PIHC business ecosystem and distributors.

The "Reward Benefit Model Retail Management 2023" event was also attended by retail distributors from all PIHC subsidiaries, including PT Petrokimia Gresik (PKG), PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang (PUSRI), PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (PKT), PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PIM), and PT Pupuk Kujang Cikampek (PKC).

On this occasion, the signing of the Pe-i (Pupuk Indonesia) retail business development cooperation was also carried out with BNI.
