Man Stabbing Wife Many Times In Medan Arrested While Hiding At Friend's House

MEDAN - Police arrested a man with the initials SW (40), a resident of Medan City, North Sumatra, who had the heart to stab his own wife almost to death.

"The suspect was arrested while hiding at his friend's house on Jalan Amal, Medan Labuhan District", said Head of Medan Labuhan Police, Kompol Edy Safari, quoted by Antara, Sunday, March 14.

From the results of the interrogation, the suspect admitted that he was desperate to stab his wife because he was annoyed. After all, she asked for a divorce.

From the suspect, the police also confiscated evidence in the form of sharp weapons used to assault the victim.

"The suspect was jealous and upset because his wife asked for a divorce", said Kompol Edy.

The stabbing incident took place on Monday, March 8. The perpetrator stabbed his wife five times in the face, head, and ears.
