Indonesia Open 2024: Apri/Fadia Add List Of Dead Olympic Representatives
JAKARTA - women's doubles pair Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti added to the list of representatives of the 2024 Paris Olympics who failed to break into the quarter-finals of the Indonesia Open 2024.
They played dramatically against representatives of Malaysia, Pearly Tan/Thinaah Muralitharan, and lost two games with a score of 21-18 and 21-19 at Istora, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, June 6, 2024, evening WIB.
"They are more consistent and we die a lot on our own so that it makes them more confident," said Apri after the match.
Apri/Fadia's defeat made Indonesia's representatives who had confirmed themselves to qualify for Paris only one remained at the Indonesia Open 2024.

The only Indonesian representatives who will play in the 2024 Paris Olympics and still survive in the Super 1000 BWF event are the women's singles Gregoria Mariska Tunjung.
"Right now what we have to prepare is that five to six points need to be more consistent. That was what made us lose," said Apri.
Apart from Apri/Fadia, the athletes who will play in the 2024 Paris Olympics and have been eliminated are Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, Jonatan Christie, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, and Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari.
So far, only two Indonesian representatives have reached the quarter-finals. Apart from Gregoria, another ticket was obtained by Dejan Ferdinandsyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja.
Dejan/Gloria qualified early after making a surprise by defeating the fourth seed from South Korea, Seo Seung-jae/Chae Yu-jung. Meanwhile, Gregoria trailed after beating Thailand's singles, Supanida Katethong.
Meanwhile, Apri/Fadia are the fourth representatives to fall today. The other three who lifted the suitcase were Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin, Ester Nurumi Tri Wardoyo, and Adnan Maulana/Nita Violina Marwah.
