Temanggung Police Chief AKBP Benny Setyowadi said this incident occurred at around 04.45 WIB. The perpetrator stabbed the victim Muhndori while prostrating. The perpetrator also stabbed the victim's wife who tried to obstruct the perpetrator.
After the incident, the two victims were taken to the Temanggung Regional Hospital for treatment. The final condition of the Muhndori victim improved. However, his wife Trimah died around 14.00 WIB.

"We are still investigating the motive of the perpetrator to abuse him. The initial information is related to personal problems between the victim and the suspect who happened to be neighbors", said AKBP Benny, quoted by Antara, Sunday, March 14.

The perpetrator is suspected of Article 340 and/or Article 355 paragraph (1) and (2) of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of death.
