Cisco And NVIDIA Introduce New Data Center Infrastructure Solutions For AI

JAKARTA - Cisco announced his collaboration with NVIDIA to change the way customers build, manage and optimize infrastructure and software at data centers.

Called the AI Cluster Cisco Nexus HyperFabric, this solution will combine Cisco AI's original network with NVIDIA's accelerated computing and AI software, as well as robust VAST data storage.

This is designed to allow customers to focus on AI-based innovations and new revenue opportunities over IT management.

Even though the AI potential is clear, the way forward for many people who are just starting out is still unclear. Customers often face economic and operational challenges to prepare and run AI. " said Jonathan Davidson, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Cisco Networking.

To that end, Davidson added, Cisco is committed to making the implementation and operation of AI infrastructure simpler through its collaboration with NVIDIA as the world's largest chip company.

"Together with NVIDIA, we present an AI-stack solution that is easy to implement and operate in the cloud for implementation on site built based on the vision of our Cisco Networking Cloud platform for automation and simplicity," added Davidson.

"NVIDIA and Cisco provide an AI platform and a control field that the company is ready to use to simplify the implementation of the computing, network, and software acceleration needed for a generative AI workload," said Kevin Deierling, Senior Vice President of the Network at NVIDIA.
