New Proposal, KESDM Will Disburse IDR 5.19 Trillion To Build Energy Infrastructure
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) plans to allocate an indicative ceiling for 2025 for the development of energy infrastructure for the community.
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arifin Tasrif said, in 2025, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources proposed 55.3 percent or Rp5.19 trillion from the indicative ceiling for the 2025 fiscal year of Rp9.39 trillion.
"The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources allocates 55.3 percent or Rp5.19 trillion of the Indicative Ceiling 2025 allocated to infrastructure and natural resource surveys, including: Cisem Pipe Phase II Batang - Cirebon - Kandang Haur Timur and Dusem, BPBL, PLTS Supporting, PLTS, PLTMH, and PLTM, Geological Disaster Mitigation and Volcano Infiltration Post," said Arifin, quoted Thursday, June 6.

The 2025 Indicative Ceiling, continued Arifin, still has not accommodated several priority activities for the construction of natural gas networks for households of 100,000 SR, about 10,000 farmers and 15,000 fishermen's conkit which have been discussed in a trilateral meeting between Bappenas, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
Minister Arifin detailed that the Rp5.19 trillion budget allocation proposed by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources for community infrastructure was used, among others, for the Cirebon - Semarang (Cisem) Phase II and Dumai - Sei Mangkei (Dusem) natural gas pipelines, construction of supporting PLTS, conservation and spatial planning 5 activities, volcanic observation posts, construction of Solar PLT, Geological Disaster mitigation, construction of micro hydro power plants (PLTMH) as well as the provision of new electrical installation assistance for underprivileged households.
"The budget does not include the budget for a household gas network (Jargas), our converters (Conskits) for Farmers and Fishermen," concluded Arifin.
