10 Stadiums That Will Host Euro 2024 In Germany

JAKARTA - In the summer of 2024, Germany, which has won the European Championship three times, will host for the second time. In 1988, eight teams competed in West Germany, with 15 matches played in eight stadiums to determine the winner - the Netherlands.

Thirty-six years later, 24 teams will compete in the country that is now united in 51 matches in 10 stadiums, each trying to present beautiful moments like Marco van Basten's volley against the Soviet Union that illuminated the final of '88 at the Munich Stadium Olympian.

Here are the guidelines for each stadium that will host Euro 2024 matches:

Stadium capacity: 700.000 Host Team: The largest Hertha Berlin Stadium at Euro 2024 was built in 1936 and has seen many iconic moments in sports history, including the 1936 Olympics and the 2009 Athletics World Championships. The stadium will host the final on July 14.

Stadium Capacity: 47,000 Host Team: Cologne Built in the early 2000s, the stadium hosted five 2006 World Cup matches and has been a German Women's Cup final venue since 2010.

Stadium Capacity: 66,000 Host Team: Borussia Dortmund Known for its incredible atmosphere and "Linging Block" and has another name Signal Iduna Park, the stadium will host six matches, including one semifinal.
