The Perpetrator Of The Murder Of A Woman Who Was Suspended With Tissue Was Arrested By The Bantul Police
The case of a woman's body found in a boarding room with her mouth covered in Mancingan Parangtritis Hamlet, Kretek District, Bantul Regency, DI Yogyakarta (DIY) was finally revealed. A joint team from the Yogyakarta Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Bantul Police, and Kretek Police arrested a murder suspect.
Head of Public Relations of the Bantul Police, AKP I Nengah Jeffry, said the perpetrator with the initials IRS alias Jepon (24 years) lived in the Kretek area of Bantul Regency and had been named a suspect. According to Jeffry, the suspect's motive for killing the victim was because he wanted to control his property.
"The motive for the murder was to control the property belonging to the victim, cellphone and Rp. 150,000 in cash, the victim was strangled with his right hand, covered in tissue, and smothered with pillows," Jeffry said via text message quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, June 5.
According to Jeffry, the suspect is currently still being questioned and the police are still collecting evidence belonging to the perpetrator and also the victim.

Previously, on Thursday, May 23, a woman was found lying lifeless in a boarding house in Parangkusumo, Mancingan Parangtritis Hamlet, Kretek, Bantul. The victim is known as Tiyasmi (54) a resident of Ambarawa Semarang.
The discovery of the victim's body began when one of the witnesses Maryani (52) intended to wake the victim by tapping on the door, but there was no response. The witness then opened the door of the room and found the victim already in a supine position. Maryani then called another witness and then reported it to the police.
