New Facts About Middle School Student Beaters To Death In Batu City

New facts were revealed in the case of the beating of a junior high school student to death in Batu City, East Java. Apparently, before committing acts of violence, the perpetrators consumed liquor (alcohol).

This was revealed by the counseling teacher (BK) of SMPN 2 Batu City Evi Dwi Setyowati from the results of the summons of the perpetrators before this case was handled by the police.

It was said that there were three perpetrators who claimed to have consumed alcohol before the violence. The three perpetrators were KA (13), MA (13), and Mi (15). They admitted to buying the alcohol before the beating took place.

'Yes, they admitted to consuming alcohol before the beating occurred. The one who bought it was KA, and was drunk at the location with MA and MI. Meanwhile, the other two perpetrators, KB and AS, did not participate," said Herlina, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 4.

Evi confirmed that KA has a problematic background, especially regarding alcohol. This has even been reported to KA's parents. However, KA has a broken home background.

In fact, continued Evi, KA has been consuming alcohol since elementary school. According to him, parental parenting affects train daily life at school and outside school.

"Actually, these violations have been communicated to his mother, but it seems that his mother is not able to cooperate in terms of his child's assistance and supervision," he explained.

However, in this case KA was not involved in the violence because he only bought alcohol and recorded videos. He hopes that this case will not happen again. Both schools and parents need to re-evaluate themselves.
