Sahroni, Indira Chunda Thita, Maktour Boss And Suita Travel Will Be Presented At The SYL Session
JAKARTA - The Public Prosecutor (JPU) at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will summon five witnesses in the trial of alleged extortion and gratification that ensnared former Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL).
Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said the two witnesses in the file were Indira Chunda Thita who was Syahrul's son and GM Media Radio Prambors or PT Bayureksha, Dhirgaraya S. Santo.
"The prosecutor's team will present witnesses," Ali told reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, June 5.
While the other three witnesses are outside the case file. They are the General Treasurer of the NasDem Party Ahmad Sahroni, Harly Lafian who is the owner of Suita Travel and Fuad Hasan Masyhur who owns Maktour Travel.
Masyhur has been investigated in the process of investigating the alleged money laundering crime (TPPU) that ensnared Syahrul Yasin Limpo on Monday, May 27. At that time, he admitted that he only helped book tickets for the group brought by the former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan).
Previously reported, cases of extortion and acceptance of gratuities that ensnared Syahrul were being tried at the Jakarta Corruption Court. He was charged with extortion of up to Rp44.5 billion during the 2020-2023 period.

This money was used for the benefit of Syahrul's wife and family, invited gifts, the NasDem Party, religious events, aircraft charters to Umrah and sacrifices. In addition, he was also charged with receiving gratuities of Rp40.6 billion from January 2020 to October 2023.
