La Liga Players Fill In The Match Blanks With Online FIFA League Tournaments
JAKARTA - The La Liga players have found a way to fill the absence of football in all of Europe. They host online virtual league tournaments at FIFA 20.
The idea was sparked after 60,000 fans watched Borja Iglesias and Sergio Reguilon - from Real Betis and Sevilla respectively - play a virtual Sevilla derby. As a result, Iglesias secured a 6-5 victory for Betis.
La Liga is suspended until at least April 4, while the country is in the midst of a 15-day lockdown due to a national emergency. However, this situation could last longer.
