JAKARTA - A motorcycle repair shop and a tire patch on Jalan Raya Cilangkap, Cipayung District, East Jakarta caught fire on Sunday, June 2, evening. "The cause was a spark from a tire patch. The beginning of the tire patch work, then a spark hit a bottle filled with gasoline and enlarged," said Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman when confirmed. The fire that burned the tire patch workshop was 2 x 5 meters wide belonging to Jetendra Irianto. As a result of the fire, the owner suffered a loss of Rp 30 million. The fire was extinguished by 4 fire engines with 20 personnel deployed. The fire was extinguished at 20.16 WIB. "The fire suppression is currently declared complete," he said.
