PEKANBARU - Police have arrested three suspected perpetrators of the dog head terror at the home of a prosecutor in Pekanbaru City.
Riau Police Chief Inspector General P Agung Setya Effendi said the three suspects were members and guards of the office at the Pekanbaru Traditional Institute (LAM).
"The three perpetrators we arrested in three different locations. Some were at the LAM office in Pekanbaru City, Jalan Melur and last night in the Kubang area, Kampar," said Inspector General Agung Setya Effendi, to reporters quoted by Antara, Friday, March 12.
The three perpetrators had the initials I, D and B. Apart from the three perpetrators, he continued, the police were still hunting down two other perpetrators, namely BI and J who were suspected of being involved in the case. B
I and J are said to be the people who provide the perpetrators and the brains of the perpetrators in carrying out these acts of terror.
The terrorist act of throwing a severed dog's head at the house of the Head of the Legal Information and Public Relations Section of the Riau High Prosecutor's Office, Muspidauan took place last week. Apart from that, the home of the Secretary of the Riau Customary Institute (LAM), Nasir Panyalai, also experienced terror from the same perpetrators.
From the investigation, the suspect admitted that the terror was carried out in connection with the Pekanbaru LAM Extraordinary Regional Conference (Musdalub) some time ago.
The perpetrators were not happy with the decision in the Musdalub. Muspidauan apart from being a prosecutor, is also the Chairperson of the Pekanbaru LAM. The election of Muspidauan as the Daily Chairperson of LAM Pekanbaru was the reason for the perpetrator to terrorize the prosecutor.
"They were not happy and had protested with the aim that they would continue to exist in the property or assets in the LAM," he said.
