22 Residents Of One Complex In Solo Test Positive For COVID-19

SOLO - A total of 22 residents who live in a temporary housing complex in Mojo Village, Solo, Central Java have been confirmed positive for COVID-19.

"Initially there were two residents, both of them were mothers, they were confirmed with COVID-19 and eventually died," said Lurah Mojo Margono in Solo, quoted by Antara, Friday, March 12.

As a result of the incident, his party reported to the Sangkrah Health Center to immediately conduct a contact tracing, especially to residents who live close to the two people.

"And all of these 55 people were 'traced.' In the initial stage there were 13 people who were confirmed positive, but two days after the results came out again on'rapid antigen '(rapid antigen test) and there were nine negative results. Then The nine people were sent back to their respective areas (temporary housing) from Donohudan, "he said.

Furthermore, in the second stage of the test, the results obtained were four people who were confirmed positive and the last five were children. Thus, in the meantime, a total of 22 people from the region have been confirmed with COVID1-19.

"They are all in a symptom-free condition so that it is sufficient to undergo self-quarantine in Donohudan, but five because they are still children, they undergo independent isolation in their respective homes with their mothers," he said.

Chairman of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19 Surakarta Ahyani said that residents who were confirmed positive living in a complex in Mojo Village had been handled by the Surakarta City Health Office.

"I also did not get the initial confirmation that this was affected by which cluster, yes, the name is interaction. There are crowded villages and sometimes there are also those who are not disciplined, the risk is like that," he said.

He said some of the residents who were confirmed positive had been taken to the Donohudan Hajj Dormitory to undergo self-quarantine, while the rest were self-quarantined in their respective homes.

"But yes, the process is still being 'traced' again. For the area there, micro-isolation is also applied first," he said.
