Most Of The Provincial Capitals In Indonesia Light Rain This Saturday
JAKARTA - Light rain will flush most areas of the provincial capital in Indonesia this Saturday according to information from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).
Launching the BMKG website in Jakarta, and reported by ANTARA, Saturday, June 1, the provincial capital that has the potential to rain with light intensity during the day is Serang, Semarang, Banjarmasin, Tarakan, Pangkal Pinang, Bandar Lampung, Ambon, Ternate, Mataram, Mamuju, and Makassar.
Meanwhile, the cities of Bandung and Kendari are predicted to rain with moderate intensity.
BMKG also warned the public to be aware of rain accompanied by lightning that could potentially occur in the areas of Gorontalo, Samarinda, Tarakan, Tanjung Pinang, and Manado.

Several areas are predicted to be cloudy this afternoon, including Pontianak, Palangka Raya, Jayapura City, Manokwari, Pekanbaru, Padang, and Palembang. Meanwhile, Central Jakarta is predicted to be thick cloudy.
The areas of Banda Aceh, Denpasar, Yogyakarta, Jambi, Surabaya, Kupang, and Medan are predicted to be cloudy.
Meanwhile, Bengkulu City is predicted to be sunny with temperatures 24-33 degrees Celsius.
BMKG previously also predicted drought to begin to dominate Indonesia's territory in mid-June-September 2024.
Head of BMKG Dwikorita Karnawati in Jakarta, Tuesday, May 28, said that this condition was marked after 19 zones, percent of Indonesia's territory had entered the dry season; starting from parts of Aceh, North Sumatra, Riau, West Java, and the Special Region of Yogyakarta.
The BMKG Meteorology Team revealed that some other areas in Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara will also enter the dry season in the next three or 30 days.
