Riding A Motorbike With Three Trucks In Sinjai, 1 Boy Died And 2 Criticals
Three junior high school students riding a motorbike in Sinjai Regency, South Sulawesi, hit a truck as they were about to turn on the road to the axis of Joalampe Hamlet, Alenangka Village, South Sinjai District, Thursday 30 May 2024. One of the three students was killed, and the other two were critical.
The incident occurred when the three traveled home from school. The dead victims were named Ferdiansyah, while the other two who were in critical condition were Nabhan and Muhammad Alif.
They are all 14 years old and are now being treated at the Sinjai Regional General Hospital (RSUD). "Ferdiansyah, after being helped at the puskesmas, died. Two of her rides are still undergoing treatment," said Head of the Sinjai Police Traffic Unit, AKP Muhammad Arsyad.
Lakalantas occurred when the three victims who were riding a motorbike hit a truck numbered DD 8192 LA who suddenly turned around.
"The dump truck moved from south to north, while turning to right, the driver did not pay attention to the vehicle from behind," he said.
According to the truck driver's confession, he admitted that he did not see the motorbike from behind when it was about to turn, causing an accident.

Currently, the driver in his truck is being held at the Sinjai Police Traffic Unit, while the death toll has been taken by the family.
