Entering The Circular Of Corruption Cases, PGN Ensures The Performance Of Natural Gas Service Operations Is Maintained
JAKARTA - PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk (PGN) (PGAS) affirms its commitment and supports law enforcement in the PGN working area.
After the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigates allegations of corruption in PGN, PGN will respect the ongoing legal process at the KPK. PGN is also committed to always supporting and assisting the KPK in carrying out efforts to eradicate corruption in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
"Until now, we are closely monitoring the ongoing legal process at the KPK on this alleged problem. We ensure that this law enforcement step by the KPK will not interfere with operational activities, services to customers and the company's business in the future," said PGN Corporate Secretary Rachmat Hutama, Wednesday, May 29.
Rachmat continued, PGN is ready to cooperate with the KPK and cooperates with the ongoing legal process while still prioritizing the principle of presumption of innocence. PGN of course also has standard provisions related to handling legal problems.
"Our focus is currently following the progress of the ongoing law enforcement process at the KPK," he said.

As of the first quarter of 2024, PGN recorded a Net Profit for the Year attributable to the Main Entity of 121.1 million US dollars.
This acquisition came from revenues of 949.3 million US dollars and Operating Profit of 169 million US dollars.
Then for EBITDA, the acquisition is 305.8 million US dollars. The distribution of gas trading volume in the first quarter of 2024 reached 858 BBTUD while the transmission volume was 1,427 MMSCFD.
