Man From NTT Hanging From A Tree Batang In NTB Turns Out To Be A Murder Victim, The Perpetrator Is 3 People

The police revealed that a man with the initials JF (23) who was found dead hanging from a tree trunk in a garden resident of Sokong Village, North Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) was a murder victim.

The man who was the victim of the murder came from Atambua, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). The case was revealed after the police conducted a field investigation.

"From the results of the investigation carried out by the criminal investigation team, it was revealed that the victim (JF) was killed because he was suspected of being murdered, not due to hanging himself," said North Lombok Police Chief AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro in his statement, Wednesday, May 29, which was confiscated by Antara.

The murder was revealed by three perpetrators with one of them the head of the company where the victim worked, namely the Jaya Perkasa Cooperative.

The leader has the initials PCM (23), another perpetrator with the initials AYT (32) and PFM (19) who is the supervisor of the cooperative field.

"So, the victim JF worked together in a cooperative with three perpetrators. The victim has only been working in a cooperative for one week," he said.

One of the perpetrators, said Didik, was revealed as a reporter for the JF hanging incident which was found on Sunday, May 26 in the early hours of the morning.

Regarding the motive for the murder, he said that the victim, who had only worked in the cooperative for one week, intended to return to his place of origin in NTT, but the victim still had a debt of IDR 500 thousand in the cooperative.

"Because the victim has not been able to pay the debt, the PCM perpetrator as the leader of the cooperative is emotional and upset, resulting in an argument, and beating the victim," he said.

Didik said that the victim had fled at that time. However, PCM and two other perpetrators chased the victim until he was finally caught and took the victim to the scene.

"From the scene of the incident, the perpetrators tortured the victim to death. Panicked, the three perpetrators engineered the incident as if the victim had hanged himself," said Didik.

Furthermore, he emphasized that his party has now named the three perpetrators as suspects by referring to the criminal violation of Article 351 paragraph (3) concerning persecution that resulted in the victim's death.
