The KEK Lido, Which Is Developed By The Conglomerate Hary Tanoesoedibjo, Is Projected To Attract 4 Million Tourists Per Year
JAKARTA - MNC Group Executive Chairman Hary Tanoesoedibjo said that the Lido Special Economic Zone (KEK), which is projected to attract up to 4 million tourists per year, will help drive the economy around the area.
"Later, various supporting facilities will be provided, and we have prepared all of that carefully. When it is completed, KEK MNC Lido City can attract 3 million to 4 million tourist visits per year. This will be very good for the economy of Bogor, Sukabumi, and Regencies. surrounding areas", said Hary Tanoe, quoted from Antara, March 12.
KEK Lido is a tourism SEZ with a business plan for developing attractions (world-class theme parks, golf courses, and retail and dining), accommodation development (six stars luxury resorts, other star hotels, as well as TOD development), and creative economy development (film studios and music festival).
The presence of a theme park that will be built in the Lido KEK is predicted to be able to increase the number of visits by domestic tourists and foreign tourists to reach 63.4 million people until 2038 or an average of 3.17 million tourists per year.
Foreign exchange inflow from foreign tourists as well as savings on foreign exchange outflows from domestic tourists can reach 4.1 billion US dollars over 20 years.
The property issuer, PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG), a company under the auspices of the MNC Group, has just realized the plan to develop the Lido KEK by laying the groundwork for the construction of the Lido Music & Arts Center in the area.
Lido Music & Arts Center is built on an area of five hectares with an amphitheater concept and makes it the largest outdoor music and arts festival venue in Indonesia. Lido Music & Arts Center is expected to be the main destination for organizing various international music and arts festivals in Southeast Asia.
Built to accommodate more than 50,000 visitors in one event, the venue has four different stages to accommodate different performances at the same time. The construction of the Lido Music & Arts Center is targeted for completion by the end of 2021.
KEK Lido is also predicted to open new jobs by absorbing 21,000 direct workers and 84,000 indirect workers.
