Whether This Is Good News Or Bad News, The Capacity Of The COVID-19 Hospital Wisma Atlet Today Is 58 Percent

JAKARTA - There has been a reduction in the level of filling of COVID-19 patient care beds at the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital Kemayoran today. Currently, its usability reaches 58 percent.

Head of Information for Joint Regional Defense Command (Kogabwilhan I) Colonel Aris Mudian said that as of today, 164 people have left Wisma Atlet as COVID-19 isolation patients.

"There are 3.313 inpatients at the Wisma Atlet Hospital from 5.994 beds. Initially, there were 3.477 people being treated, and today it has increased by 164 people", said Aris in his statement, Friday, March 12.

In detail, there are 1.655 women and 1.658 men. They are undergoing isolation in Towers 4, 5, 6, and 7 of the Wisma Athlete COVID-19 Emergency Hospital.

So, the COVID-19 Emergency Hospital Wisma Atlet has been treating 72.547 coronavirus patients since the beginning it was used as a place of isolation on March 23, 2020, until now.

"There were 69.234 patients discharged, with details of 68.439 patients recovered, 709 were referred to other hospitals, and 86 people died", he said.

Currently, all isolation patients being treated at the Emergency Hospital Wisma Atlet Kemayoran are people who have symptoms of COVID-19, both mild and moderate.

Meanwhile, patients in the asymptomatic category undergo isolation at the Wisma Atlet Pademangan Quarantine towers. Tower 8 and 9 Wisma Atlet Pademangan currently have 4.066 inpatients.

"Today, 176 patients are undergoing isolation at Wisma Atlet Pademangan. Yesterday, there were 4.242 hospitalized patients", he concluded.
