Good News From Lebak, 5,960 Public Servants Are Vaccinated With COVID-19

JAKARTA - As many as 5,960 public service officers in Lebak Regency, Banten Province, have been vaccinated against COVID-19 and are running smoothly.

"We hope that this week we target all of the 7,250 recipients of the second phase vaccine to be vaccinated," said Spokesperson for the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling of COVID-19 in Lebak Regency, Dr. Firman Rahmatullah in Lebak, as reported by Antara, Friday, March 12.

Vaccination in Lebak Regency is currently still running through health facilities (faskes) at the puskesmas, RSUD Adjidarmo and clinics.

Vaccine officers are working well so that it runs successfully and smoothly, even now there are no problems.

Currently, the second phase of the vaccination program is specifically for public employees, such as the state civil servants (ASN), village officials, DPRD members, media crews, TNI, Polri and others.

"We hope that vaccination can control the spread of cases of the COVID-19 pandemic," he explained.

The Lebak Regency Government has not received the second phase of the second batch of vaccines.

So far, the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine has been channeled through the Central Government.

However, he appreciates the implementation of the vaccination program starting from the first and second stages without any side effects.

"We guarantee that the vaccination program is safe and there are no side effects, so it is certain that public interest in being vaccinated is quite high," he said.

Meanwhile, Secretary of the Lebak Regency DPRD Fin Ryan said that all members of the legislature had been vaccinated, including 73 staff.

However, if they do not meet the requirements, no vaccination is carried out.

"We hope that in the future Indonesia can be free from COVID-19 through this vaccine," he said.

Based on COVID-19 data in Lebak Regency until Thursday, 2,767 people were confirmed positive, 1,970 were declared cured, 740 were treated and isolated and 56 died.
