BPD DIY Targets Distribution Of 100 FLPP Mortgage Units This Year
JAKARTA - The Regional Development Bank (BPD) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) will distribute funds for Housing Financing Liquidity Facilities (FLPP) for 100 housing units for low-income people (MBR) this year.
The target was set after an assessment was carried out by the People's Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera).
The agreement was marked by the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between BP Tapera and BPD DIY recently.
The PKS was signed by the Deputy Commissioner for the Utilization of the Tapera Fund, Sid Herdi Kusuma, and the President Director of BPD DIY Santoso Rohmad.
As a form of support from the DIY Provincial Government, the signing of the PKS was witnessed directly by the Deputy Governor of DIY KGPAA Paku Alam X and BP Tapera Commissioner Heru Pudyo Nugroho.
In his remarks, KGPAA Paku Alam X conveyed the support of the DIY Government in providing access to home ownership for people in DIY Province.
"Hopefully we can accelerate and expand the reach of the FLPP Prosperous KPR program, so that more and more MBRs can benefit," said KGPAA Paku Alam X, Friday, May 25.
Sourced from the BP Tapera database, currently, DIY Province has 1,939 housing units in four Regencies/Cities of DIY Province. Meanwhile, the demand data (demand) was recorded at 3,642 in five districts/cities, especially in Sleman and Bantul Regencies.

BP Tapera Commissioner Heru Pudyo Nugroho said property provides an extraordinary multiplier effect in the Indonesian economy.
Therefore, he invites all parties, namely local governments, the Implementing Bank and the Developing Association to support this program so that the community's economy can have a positive impact through the property sector.
"According to Susenas data, the DIY economy in the first quarter of 2024 towards the first quarter of 2023 grew by 5.02 percent (yoy). Of course this is a challenge for all of us to be able to play a role indirectly in reducing the poverty rate through the property sector," he added.
