Police Name Jukir At Pekanbaru Penganiaya Driver Ojol Becomes A Suspect
PeKANBARU - Binawidya Sector Police, Pekanbaru City, Riau, named three parking attendants (jukir) suspected of molesting an online motorcycle taxi driver (ojol) in front of a fast food restaurant as a suspect.
The head of the Binawidya Police, Kompol Asep Rahmat, explained that the three were named suspects after the elements were deemed sufficient, including evidence and witness statements.
"We will investigate further this case. Crimes of thuggery are not justified in any form," Asep said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, May 24.
In addition, two of the three people are known to be illegal parking attendants. From this incident, his party will coordinate with the Pekanbaru City Transportation Service regarding illegal parking attendants who do not have a permit.
As a result of their actions, the three were charged with Article 170 or Article 335 of the Criminal Code or Article 2 of the Republic of Indonesia's Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951 concerning sharp weapons with a threat of 10 years in prison.
Previously, due to the persecution, hundreds of online motorcycle taxi drivers stormed the fast food outlet, Thursday (23/5). The incident began when Hendrianto (34), who was an online motorcycle taxi driver, took orders at the restaurant and was billed for parking fees.

Because he usually doesn't pay, he said that other parking attendants don't need to charge anymore. But suddenly the parking attendant immediately banged his head on the victim's face and slapped him three times.
The victim defended himself by trying to hit, but was not hit. Then another parking attendant took the wood and hit the victim's head.
It did not stop there, the parking attendant's father also came carrying a sharp weapon and threatened with the sickle he was carrying. As a result of the incident, the victim suffered injuries to the head and right thigh.
