Sudirman Said: Jakarta Leaders Must Focus On Solving Problems, Not For Pijakan Stones
JAKARTA - Sudirman Said stated that future Jakarta leaders should not use their work as a stepping stone in the world of politics. This is because the transition period will occur after the transfer of the nation's capital to the archipelago.
"Because this transition is so big, it is better for Jakarta to be the party who wants to focus on solving problems, not people who are looking for stairs for their next political career," said Sudirman Said.
"Jakarta should not be used continuously as, yes, stepping stones, stepping stones," continued the former Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources.
In addition, future Jakarta leaders must be able to work with the central government. "It's not good if the governor is against it," said Sudirman in an interview, Thursday, May 23.
The central government must also be comfortable with the number one person in Jakarta. This is because in the future communication will continue to be carried out because this transition period is related to many things, such as dealing with housing to investment and the environment.

Then, the next Jakarta leader must be able to solve poverty. Sudirman said that almost this problem should be a concern because almost 40 percent of the residents experience it.
These various conditions make Sudirman believe that he can run as a candidate for governor. He is even ready if he has to face Anies Baswedan, who is predicted to run even though he was once part of the winning team in the 2024 presidential election.
"Well, that's why I feel too, if there is an opportunity to do something. That's our concern," concluded the former Co-Captain National Team (Timnas) Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin.
