Vesak Holidays, Lalin Of Balsam Toll Roads And Bali Toll Roads Experience An Increase
JAKARTA - The volume of traffic (traffic) on the Balikpapan-Samarinda (Balsam), East Kalimantan, and Nusa Dua-Ngurah Rai-Benoa Toll Road, Bali has increased on the Waisak Day Holiday or Thursday, May 23, 2024.
"Jasamarga Nusantara Tollroad Regional Division (JNT) recorded an increase in traffic volume on the Balikpapan-Samarinda Toll Road and the Nusa Dua-Ngurah Rai-Benoa Toll Road section on this long holiday," said Senior General Manager of Jasamarga Nusantara Tollroad Regional Division Truly Nawangsasi, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, May 24.
Traffic volume on Thursday on the Balikpapan-Samarinda Toll Road was recorded at 11,491 passing vehicles, an increase of 9.1 percent compared to the daily normal traffic volume in 2024, which was 10,537 vehicles.
As for the Nusa Dua-Ngurah Rai-Benoa Toll Road, 55,311 vehicles passed, an increase of 8.7 percent compared to the daily normal traffic in 2024, which was 50,897 vehicles.
Toll road users are advised to anticipate the long holiday period for the 2024 Vesak Day well.
Before entering the toll road, make sure the vehicle and driver are in top condition, adhere to health protocols, ensure sufficient fuel oil (BBM), and electronic money balances and comply with signs and directions from field officers.
For information, a number of toll roads outside Java are projected to increase the volume of traffic (traffic) during the long holiday of Vesak Day for the period 22-26 May 2024.
For the Medan-Kualanamu-Tebing Tinggi Toll Road, it is projected that 66,639 vehicles pass, an increase of 0.6 percent compared to the daily normal traffic volume in 2024 of 66,264 vehicles.
