Generating Tourism, Erick Thohir Loves PR For 7 SOEs: Real Work!
JAKARTA - State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Minister Erick Thohir welcomes the collaboration of seven state-owned companies that will collaborate to restore the tourism sector. This cooperation is considered important, because the revival of the tourism sector requires joint efforts as a whole from upstream to downstream.

The collaboration between the seven BUMNs was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The companies in question are PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) as the airport operator, PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) as the airport operator, PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk as the operator of the Garuda Indonesia and Citilink Indonesia airlines.

In addition, said Erick, the parties will also examine the possibility of utilizing company resources including subsidiaries or affiliated companies to support the running of this strategic program.
"I ask that this synergy can be carried out consistently and not just lip service, not only ceremonial but it must be something concrete. We hope that the contribution we make to the country can be more optimal and provide benefits to the business world in facing the challenges caused by the pandemic. "he said.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno, who was also present at the event, called the MoU of the seven BUMN Tourism and Supporters as value creation based on alignment of interest.
