President Jokowi Affirms Immediately Relocation Of Residents In The Red Zone Of Cold Lava
Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy said President Joko Widodo had emphasized that people who are still in the red zone of cold lava must be relocated immediately.
"Anyway, the message of their President who is still in the red zone must be relocated immediately," said Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy while reviewing the location of the cold lava disaster in Tanah Datar Regency, reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 21.
However, President Jokowi also advised people not to be moved away from the original residential location of the residents. Because, it can also have an impact on the livelihoods of the residents.
During a visit to the disaster site, the former Chancellor of Muhammadiyah University Malang said the local government was also preparing a number of lands or locations for relocation for flood survivors.
"The regional government has proposed several lands. However, the most important thing is that the President's message should not be too far away, and must be still close to the livelihoods of the citizens," he said.
Meanwhile, Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini said that he had prepared a number of mitigation measures, especially for people who are still in the red zone of the cold lava disaster of Mount Marapi.
One of them is by preparing a detailed building design. Not only that, schools are also asked to intensify the socialization of steps that must be taken in the event of a follow-up disaster.

Then, from the field assessment carried out by the Ministry of Social Affairs, currently the community is still waiting for when it will be moved to locations that are much safer or not in the red zone of cold lava floods.
Risma also reminded the government to always guarantee and prepare study places, especially for children who are currently still in refugee camps. Then it also includes establishing places of worship, playgrounds to toilets or toilets.
"We must be able to ensure the various daily needs of displaced residents," he asserted.
