Alleged Misappropriation Of Covid-19 Funds, Police Will Call Head And Treasurer Of BPBD West Sumatra
PADANG - Investigators at the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimsus) of the West Sumatra Regional Police have scheduled a summons for the Chief Executive and Treasurer of the West Sumatra BPBD next week. Both were summoned in cases of alleged misuse of the 2020 COVID-19 budget.
"We have already sent invitations and next week we will be asked for information," said Head of Sub-Directorate for Tipidkor Polda West Sumatra, Kompol Agung B. in Padang quoted by Antara, Wednesday, March 10.
The police are currently gathering information to solve this case. Starting from collecting documents related to this issue to statements from a number of parties in the disclosure of this case.
"We will be serious in uncovering this case and continue to work," said Agung.
Currently the police have collected a number of documents from the West Sumatra BPBD and are still waiting for documents in the form of special committee minutes to follow up the findings of the BPK LHP related to the COVID-19 budget.
"We have sent the West Sumatra DPRD Secretary for the document and we are still waiting for it," he said.
"We also involve external parties and in every stage of the process we will always conduct a case title," he continued
Previously, the Head of Public Relations of the West Sumatra Regional Police, Kombes Satake Bayu, said the two officials questioned were the Head of Rehabilitation of the West Sumatra BPBD Suryadi and Member of the West Sumatra DPRD Nofrizon.
"We collect information first to reveal this case," he said.
