Ladies And Gentlemen, There Is A Discount For Cooking Oil And Sugar At The Cheap Market At The Department Of Industry And Trade, Banjarmasin
BANJARMASIN - The Department of Industry and Trade (Disperindag) of Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan, has prepared 20 times the title of the cheap market for Ramadan 1442 hijrah or 2021.
"We schedule the implementation ahead of Ramadan or April 1, 2021," said the Head of the Improvement of Trade Distribution Facilities (PSDP) and the Banjarmasin City Disperindag Market, Ichrom Muftezar, in Banjarmasin.
According to him, the Ramadan cheap market title will cover 5 sub-districts which will be adjusted according to the implementation of the COVID-19 pandemic.
But keep in mind, said Ichrom, this Ramadan cheap market is a form of city government concern for the needs of the underprivileged.
"So this is to help our less fortunate citizens face the holy month of Ramadan," said Ichrom.
He also stated that the city government, through Disperindag, carried out this activity with the help of companies to subsidize the materials sold in the cheap Ramadan market.
"Meanwhile, there are 17 companies that are willing to help through Corporate Social and Responsibility (CSR) funds for this activity," he explained.
Ichrom explained that his party is currently preparing for this Ramadan cheap market by asking for data on the poor directly to the Banjarmasin City Social Service. "So that our activities can be right on target," he said.
There are only two commodities to be sold at the cheap Ramadan market, namely, two liters of cooking oil and two kilograms of sugar.
"The normal price is Rp50 thousand for a package, we subsidize it until it is distributed only Rp35 thousand," he said.
In fact, the implementation of this Ramadan cheap market is held every year ahead of Ramadan.
"It is possible that ahead of Ramadan, it is still the COVID-19 pandemic period, so the title will be implemented with strict health protocols, we will see the development later," said Ichrom.
